MEMBERS OF THE PUBLIC ARE ASKED TO REMAIN ON PAVEMENTS AND BEHIND BARRIERS DURING THE PARADE FOR THEIR OWN SAFETY.
THE HONEST TOUN'S ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE WILL NOT BE HELD RESPONSIBLE FOR ANY ACCIDENT OR INJURY TO SPECTATORS WHO FAIL TO ADHERE TO THESE REQUIREMENTS.
The Fancy Dress Parade takes place on the Friday of Festival Week and is open to everyone.
The Parade consists of 2 sections 'Floats' (lorries/pick ups etc) and Pedestrians.
Best Dressed Float
Prizes are awarded for 1st, 2nd & 3rd.
'Floats' are asked to assemble in Ashgrove at 6.15 p.m. (facing Pinkie Road)
Judging of the Parade, by Musselburgh & Inveresk & Tranent Commnuity Councils will take place at approx 6.30 p.m.
will move off at 7.00 p.m.
Pedestrians and cyclists are asked to assemble in Loretto R.C. Primary School Playing Fields.

Parade Route is as follows:
Pinkie Road facing west, down Newbigging to Town Hall, High Street, New Stone Bridge, Bridge Street to Ship Inn, right into Harbour Road, right at the Harbour and down New Street to the end at Fisherrow Links.
FUNDS COLLECTED DURING THE PARADE MUST BE RETURNED TO THE HONEST TOUN'S ASSOCIATION COMMITTEE MEMBERS PRESENT AT FISHERROW LINKS.
ALL FUNDS COLLECTED ARE USED IN THE RUNNING OF THE PARADE I.E. BANDS, JUICE & ICE CREAM FOR PARTICIPATING CHILDREN.
